[DE] Einen veritablen Wumms gibt es als Ausklang der ersten Festivalnacht: die Klangdampfwalze von MoE. Frontfrau Guro Skumsnes Moe an Mikrofon und Bass, eine wahre Nummer im Punk/Noise-Untergrund Norwegens und darüber hinaus, feiert gemeinsam mit ihrem langjährigen Partner Håvard Skaset an der Gitarre ihre Berlin-Premiere. Als besondere Gäste mit dabei sind Drummerin Veslemøy Narvesen, die am selben Abend auch in einer anderen Rolle zu erleben ist, und Mette Rasmussen am Saxofon, die bereits mehrmals bei A L'ARME! zu Gast war. Mit diesem neuen illustren Line-up arbeitet man weiter im unbeirrbaren Geist der eigenen Berserker-Kreativität. Man darf das „Rock“ nennen, wenn es unbedingt sein muss, sagen MoE, aber es steckt noch so viel mehr drin. Die Karten sind neu gemischt, alles ist offen.
[EN] The first festival night will be closed out with a veritable boom: the steamroller of sound that is MoE. Frontwoman Guro Skumsnes Moe on the microphone and bass – a true legend of the punk/noise underground scene in Norway and beyond – will be performing for the first time ever in Berlin with her longtime partner Håvard Skaset on the guitar. Special guests will include drummer Veslemøy Narvesen, who can also be seen in another role on the same evening, and Mette Rasmussen, who has performed several times at A L’ARME! over the years, on the saxophone. With this illustrious new line-up, the group will continue to work within the unwavering spirit of their own berserker creativity. According to MoE, you could call it “rock” if absolutely necessary, but really it’s so much more than that. The deck has been reshuffled, anything is possible.
