[DE] Menschen haben Probleme. Musik hat Genres. Und A L'ARME! hat No Plexus, um der ganzen Misere zu entkommen. Das Duo aus Allison Wright (alias No Compliments) und Brechtje van Dijk (alias Bec Plexus) versteht sich als transzendental, konzeptionell und Genre-queer. Konventionen werden gegen den Strich gebürstet, Regeln und Sicherheiten lustvoll über Bord geworfen – ob mit Wiegenliedern auf den Schmetterlingseffekt, Auto-Tune-Akrobatik oder Tagträumen in Synthie-Landschaften. No Plexus präsentieren mit ihrem Konzeptalbum Gen_Y eine Pop-Oper zwischen Experiment, Überforderung und digitaler Verführung. Nichts könnte geeigneter sein, um die Verunsicherung im Millennial-Zeitalter zu bannen und die besondere Romantik dieser Ära musikalisch einzufangen.

Conventions are upended, rules and guarantees are enthusiastically cast aside – whether with lullabies about the butterfly effect, auto-tune acrobatics, or daydreams amidst synthy landscapes. With their concept album Gen_Y, No Plexus presents a pop opera located somewhere between experiment, overload, and digital seduction. Nothing could be better suited to banishing the uncertainty of the millennial age and musically capturing the particular romance of this era.
